Prof Dr Tanveer Hussain Turabi Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, led the delegation from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur , Pakistan along with Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Director Institute of Chemistry and Dr. Khalid Bin Haider faculty member in a high-level meeting of the Punjab Government in Lahore. It was decided in the meeting chaired by the Provincial Minister of Environment, Mr. Bilal Afzal that artificial rain will carried out over Lahore on 28 and 29 November 2023 to get rid of smoke. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur will be providing technical expertise for this activity.
