𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗖
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif, Director ORIC, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a training workshop on Intellectual Property (IP) on May 7, 2026, at the VC Secretariat, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus.
The activity was arranged for faculty members who had earlier submitted copyright disclosures to ORIC for filing applications with IPO Pakistan. A total of 16 disclosures had already been received by ORIC.
Dr. Shafia Arshad, Additional Director ORIC, The Government Sadiq College Women University, served as the resource person and guided participants regarding copyright application procedures, documentation requirements, and filing process with IPO Pakistan.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Muhammad Sajad, while Dr. M. Naeem Aamir, Dr. Hafiz Aamir Rasul, and Dr. Umer Bilal provided operational and organizational support.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif emphasized the importance of protecting academic and creative work through proper intellectual property registration and facilitation by ORIC.
