𝗕𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗨𝗥: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗽𝘂𝗿 (𝗜𝗨𝗕) has achieved the prestigious 𝗫 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 in the Higher Education Commission (HEC) ORIC Annual Scorecard 2024-25, successfully sustaining its high ranking achieved during its first-ever evaluation in 2023-24.
The university was recognized for the first time in 2023 and, within a short span, has demonstrated outstanding progress in research, innovation, and commercialization activities under the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC).
IUB secured 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 among General Category Public Sector Universities of South Punjab, f𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 among General Category Public Sector Universities of Punjab, and 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 among all Public Sector Universities of Punjab.
Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran congratulated the faculty members and ORIC team on this remarkable success and termed the achievement a reflection of the collective efforts of researchers, teachers, and administrative staff.
The Vice Chancellor especially appreciated the contributions of Professor Muhammad Atif, Director ORIC, Dr. Muhammad Sajid & Dr. Naeem Amir, Managers ORIC, and Dr. Umar Bilal Sajid, Administrative Officer & Mr. Saif ur Rehman Administrative staff for their dedication and commitment.
The university leadership reaffirmed its resolve to further strengthen research culture, innovation, industry linkages, and commercialization initiatives in line with HEC standards and national development goals.
