Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur organized a one-day Research Journal Workshop for "Gohar Tahqeeq" under the supervision of Dr. Asma Rani, the editor of the journal, and the Editorial Board.
In this session, Dr. Shafia Arshad (President of Research Journals, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur ) from ORIC IUB graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr. Shafia Arshad, during her informative lecture, shed light on the establishment and operation of new research journals, including insights into the categorization of journals by the Higher Education Commission. Later, participants from various departments of the university engaged in a productive Q&A session.
Towards the end of the workshop, Dr. Asma Rani, the editor of "Gohar Tahqeeq," expressed her gratitude to Dr. Shafia Arshad and anticipated the continuation of such valuable initiatives in the future. It is noteworthy that "Gohar Tahqeeq" is the sole research journal from the university, categorized in the Y category by the Higher Education Commission.
