►ORIC IUB hosts Deputy Director (M&E), PARB
On November 21-22: Dr. Syed Nadeem Afzal Jaffery, Deputy Director/Research Officer (M&E), Punjab Agriculture Research Board (PARB) paid an official visit to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) hosted by the ORIC IUB. The visit focused on the evaluation and monitoring of ongoing PARB-funded research projects including the project of Dr. Azhar Hussain, Department of Soil Science, Dr. Muhammad Ali Raza (PhD), National Research Center of Intercropping, IUB, Dr. Muhammad Ehsan and Dr. Muhammad Rashid, Department of Parasitology.
During the monitoring and evaluation of the projects, the representative of #PARB expressed satisfaction with the ongoing progress. While appreciating the efforts of the research teams, he also identified some areas for improvement, providing constructive recommendations to ensure Principal Investigators (PIs) face no hurdles in the future.
ORIC IUB meticulously facilitated the visit, liaison between the Principal Investigators (PIs) and the PARB representative to ensure the efficient execution of all activities. The visit was bolstered by the proactive involvement of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif, Director ORIC, Mr. Abdul Moeed Abid, Additional Director ORIC, Dr. Muhammad Sajad, PhD , Manager, Innovation & Commercialization, and Mr. Hafiz Faizan Ahmad, Manager's Assistant, who collectively ensured seamless communication and operational precision throughout the engagement.
Upon departure, the PARB representative acknowledged the outstanding coordination and comprehensive support received from the ORIC IUB throughout the process. The PARB representatives also highlighted their intent to carry out future operations in collaboration with ORIC, emphasizing that they will utilize ORIC’s services for executing their initiatives within the university, ensuring continued synergy and the successful implementation of their programs.
