A seminar on “𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽” was arranged by 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝘁. 𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗾 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗽𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Mubassir Mehdi Director ORIC from Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture was invited to this event. He highlighted the importance of transferring research and innovation to the commercial level, promoting linkages between academia and industry and highlighting entrepreneurial skills among students. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum said that the role of modern universities is not limited to teaching only, but it is also their primary responsibility to ensure research, innovation and its practical application. Dr. M. Naeem Aamir, Manager Research Management, ORIC-IUB, highlighted the IUB policies that encourage the faculty to flourish their consultancy services. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Manager Innovation and Commercialization, ORIC-IUB, discussed various IP policies of IUB and their impact on academia.
On this occasion, Professor Dr. Musarat Azhar, Director External Linkages; Dr. Taseer Salahuddin, Director ORIC; Dr. Maimunah Nazir, Director Career Counseling Center; Dr. Muhammad Saleem, Manager External Linkages, MNSUAM; Miss Benish, Manager Business Incubation Center, MNSUAM; and a large number of heads of various departments, faculty members and students were present.
