A webinar titled “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘆” was organized by the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), in collaboration with the Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖), 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠.
Mr. Muhammad Hasnain, Additional Director at PASTIC Regional Office Faisalabad, appreciated the collaborative effort in organizing this informative session. Dr. M. Naeem Aamir, Manager Research Management at ORIC-IUB, warmly welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of effective reference management in academic research.
The keynote trainer, Dr. Maryum Ibrar, Additional Director at PASTIC, provided an overview of PASTIC and its services for the research community. She delivered a comprehensive presentation on Mendeley as a reference management tool, followed by a real-time, on-screen demonstration to enhance participants’ understanding.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to engage directly with the trainer.
The webinar ended with a vote of thanks to Prof. Dr. M. Atif, Director ORIC-IUB, along with the entire administration of PASTIC and IUB for their support and collaboration.
