The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) is proud to share the success of a dynamic workshop on "Teaching Entrepreneurship and Promoting Interdisciplinary Teamwork," held on December 26, 2024, at the ETC Conference Room.
This impactful session, organized by Dr. Syed Shaheer Hassan Rizvi, Department of Entrepreneurship & Innovation in collaboration with the Executive Training Center (ETC), featured esteemed keynote speakers:
✅ Dr. Shahid Qureshi – Vice Chancellor, GIFT University, and former Director, CED, IBA Karachi
✅ Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal – Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences (FOMS)
✅ Dr. Hassan Danial Aslam – Chairman, Department of Entrepreneurship & Innovation
The workshop welcomed over 30 faculty members from diverse faculties, including Social Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Engineering, and external representatives from GSCWU Bahawalpur and Ghazi University DG Khan. Representing ORIC,Hafiz Faizan Ahmad , Manager's Assistant (ORIC), actively participated in the workshop, contributing to the promotion of interdisciplinary collaboration and entrepreneurial learning.
Dr. Shahid Qureshi led an engaging session filled with real-life examples, innovative teaching strategies, and success stories, inspiring educators to infuse entrepreneurial thinking into their teaching practices. This initiative underscores ORIC's commitment to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and a culture of entrepreneurship across academic disciplines.
